- Downloadable itineraries!
- Charity partner
1. Our aim is to be the biggest repository of downloadable itineraries. We don't know anyone else doing this yet, which is why we started. We want to make it easier for you - the travel planners of the world.
2. This is what gets us out of bed in the morning. Knowing that our efforts are somehow helping girls and women around the world.
Yes, you can! We would love to have any itinerary you can share.
You will be given an author profile that you can link to any personal blog or website you might own.
Please visit our submission page when you're ready. Thank you!
Yes, you can! If you don't want your name to appear on the website you can contribute under Globalwot (which is short for Global Women on Tour) and covers everyone who chooses not to have an author profile.
If you are ready to share your itinerary please do so here - thanks!
Even if you don't have a full itinerary, we would love to have travel ideas and notes for a place you know well. You can still use the submission form here to send it to us and please include photos if you can. We would love to share any information with the Globalwot community.
Ideally, we would like you to recommend at least one good hotel/accommodation, a few places to eat and some ideas for activities.
If you have ideas for a travel article, please submit those ideas (with an outline for longer articles) to email@example.com.
Thank you for wanting to help grow this community of women travellers!
It's all about sharing the love, really.
All Globalwot contributors are gifted an "author profile" where you can provide a link to your personal blog or personal/business website.
Having other websites (like ours) link to your personal blog gives your blog "authority" in the world of Google rankings and algorithms. It's a good thing!
If your trip can be written up as an itinerary - we'll do that for you and attach it as a download to your blog post submitted with us to make it easier for our readers.
One important note: any contributions to our website cannot be a word for word replication of something already on your blog post. That discredits both your website and ours.
That's OK! We have multiple itineraries for lots of places.
Here's the thing, we all like enjoy different things and can have completely different experiences in the same place. Plus, let's face it, things change quickly, so all recent itineraries are welcome, no matter where it is for!
First of all - Thank You! We are so glad to have you as a part of the Globalwot community here. We are so glad you tried an itinerary and are very sorry if you had trouble finding your way because of misinformation.
As time passes, places change which means we need help from people like you to keep our itineraries and information up to date. Please consider submitting changes to this particular itinerary by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org. We would be happy to talk with you about changes we can make.
Also consider writing a new itinerary to share on the website with different things to do, see and eat in the location you visited. The more information we can share, the better!
The website earns income through Google Ads and affiliate marketing links. After expenses every year (all costs related to running Global Women on Tour), any net profits will be donated to our current charity partner.
This is an amazing experience.
You will need to do an online training as education is a huge part of every delivery.
Then you'll need to get some kits to deliver. Start with finding out where your nearest Days for Girls chapter is. A chapter is where the hard work of making the kits (all by volunteers) is done.
Don’t want to sew or don’t have time to make kits? You can also buy kits from women in developing countries who have started DFG sewing enterprises to support their families and the community. It helps everyone!
You can find more information on locating your nearest chapter and everything else you need to know about delivering kits on behalf of DFG here.
